Details
Serpentyne create a wild fusion of world rhythms, medieval and renaissance songs and contemporary beats. Modern sounds are interlaced with instruments such as hurdy-gurdy, didgeridoo and harmonium, while Maggie-Beth Sand's voice creates its own special mood with her unique use of digital effects. Since being formed by Maggie-Beth Sand and Mark Powell in 2010 they have been taking this compelling mix to audiences throughout Europe. The band's first album, Stella Splendens, was released in March that year, and the second, "Myths and Muses" was released in June 2014.
