4oz of Groove are a Jazz, Funk, Soul, Reggae, covers band from the Midlands. Primarily a three piece act, comprised of a distinctive sounding nylon-string acoustic guitarist, dub influenced bass and powerful female vocals. Their versatility allows for them to appear as 2 piece, their usual 3 piece but can also appear with drums and additional brass players. Their repertoire ranges from the nostalgic, evocative 60s soul, 70s groove and disco but can take modern day dance and transpose them into their own unique style, ensuring that punters do not stay seated! 4oz of Groove don’t just cover songs…they relive them!
