TYGERMYLK is Hastings based multidisciplinary Indie-Pop artist Hayley Harland. This new project funded by PRSF, their first full length album, is an exciting come-back after multiple throat surgeries and challenging chronic illness. Their juicy many-layered sound and unique lyrical perspectives, previously heard at Glastonbury, The Isle of Wight Festival and BBC Introducing (South), years of writing work, is finally being committed to LP. TYGERMYLK first surfaced in 2017 at Brighton Pride with debut single “What God Would Keep Us Apart”, a heartbreaking ballad based on a true story from Harland’s teen years. Harland’s work tackles topical issues such as LGBTQIA+ rights, disability visibility, and the environment. Her voice comes straight from the heart, generating a powerful sense of courage, solidarity, representation and much needed support for marginalised audiences.
