The Lou Kyme Band, playing an original rootsy/rocky country sound influenced by the best of England, Texas and Tennessee. With Lou Kyme, vocals, guitar, accordion + Jim Maving guitar, slide guitar + Joe Hazell, bass + Neil Findlay, drums. Having played and toured as part of Southampton based family band the Okeh Wranglers through the late 1990s, Lou Kyme launched her debut solo album 'What's The Worst That Can Happen' this past year. Recorded with former Green on Red maestro Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express in San Francisco she is now playing UK dates to support her album. With a wry smile, a Blondie attitude, and the heartfelt honesty of Hank Williams, Lou Kyme's striking songwriting is making a name for itself. A new name on the scene, and one to watch.
