Details of Subhuman Race
Artist / Band
Details
Hailing from Manchester and Warrington in the North West of England, Subhuman Race originally began life in 2010, after starting a hard rock covers band and finding that 50% of the set were songs by Skid Row. After searching the tribute scene and at the time finding no other Skid Row tribute bands in Europe, they saw the potential to form a band and bring back the ‘Sebastian Bach’ era Skid Row sound and energy; from the ballsy sleaze of the debut Skid Row album, to the more hard hitting and accomplished sound of Slave to the Grind and alternative rawness of Subhuman Race. Subhuman Race pride themselves on having grown up with Skid Row among countless other hard rock bands in the late 80s and 90s, and bring with them the attitude and musicality that truly set Skid Row apart from their contemporaries. Their attention to detail and passion for the music of Skid Row comes to the fore when they play live; a fun, aggressive, professional show that is tight and well honed, full of dynamic and infectious energy. It is unlikely that Sebastian Bach and Skid Row will grace the stage together again, but with Jez’s uncanny vocal, Pete and G’s guitar playing perfectly mimicking Scotti and Snake’s blues / metal sound, and the tight ballsy rhythm section of Burton and Dave, you will be transported right back to the early 90s height of Skid Row’s career.
