With skanking rhythm’s, big bass and soulful horns, El pussycat are a 6/7 piece, authentic, ska, swing, blue beat & reggae outfit in the famous Jamaican dance hall style of the 50's/60's. Formed in 2001 by founder member Drew Stansall, El pussycat have 3 album recordings and have played 1000’s of live shows and festivals in the UK, Ireland Europe and The USA. Individual members have a rich history of this genre having performed with some of the most iconic and pioneering artists in the history of ska & reggae including Prince Buster, The Specials, Laurel Aitken, Symarip & Alton Ellis.
